The event, to be held annually every Spring Bank Holiday, is made possible by enormous support, not just from the main sponsors and customers but also from many other organisations and individuals. They help by sponsoring a cask (and more) of beer or cider. Still other help with staffing the event and making it the success that it is.
The website need to be able to display content in an easy to use format as well as carry advertising options for festival sponsors. This flexibility meant that for ease of use and speed the site had to be based on a content managed system.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”1007″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_shadow” onclick=”link_image”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Phil Anderson, organiser of the event commented:
It was crucial that we get the right look and feel for the event from the start to ensure that it reflected the quality of real ales that were being donated as well as the expectations of the public attending the event. There were a number of challenges and requirements across the cope of wok from website to logo, festival glasses design, festival T-shirts, event programmes etc.
Working with the Guys at EDGE made this process so much easier allowing me to concentrate on getting the event organised. They understood exactly what was needed and were flexible enough to ensure we were able to meet some of the tight deadlines.
The 2012 Upwey Beer Festival has been a resounding success with lots of great comments and I am very thankful to ZingPR for making it such a strong and recognisable event.
