The Royal Standard is a traditional pub located in the charming village of Upwey on the outskirts of Weymouth, Dorset. The small, friendly atmosphere is a favourite with locals and new customers alike. It is renowned for serving a selection of real ales and is recognised in the 2014/2015 & 2016 CAMRA Good Pub Guide.
With a long and distinguished history in the village, the pub was keen to maintain this premier position and wanted some posters designed to promote regular events, specifically a Shellfish special every Saturday and a Steak Night promotion held every Tuesday Evening.
EDGE creative was tasked with coming up with some eye catching poster designs. Both posters are sized to A3 and will eventually be printed onto high quality paper and finished with a matt laminate to protect them and maintain the colour and contrast. Both Poster feature good typography as part of the design element and feature strong use of images to drawn attention.
