Leading Dorset Based, Permanent Cosmetics company, Brow Design Studio, appointed EDGE Design to create and build a completely new website design to both showcase its impressive portfolio of work and help boost its Google rankings through SEO as the old website had become tired, slow and outdated. The brief was to create a visually attractive website that was easy to navigate on all devices and showcased the talented artists at the company.
Building the website on a content management system (CMS) was the obvious choice for this project allowing the client to easily add content, change images throughout the website on their own. The use of designed templates for various aspects of the website meant that the client can easily just add the content and associated images without the need of trying to keep a consistent feel across the website.
The design had several challenges along the way in terms of making the layout completely responsive ensuring that the website displayed well on all devices but the end result is a fabulous looking website (if we do say so ourselves) that will be easy for the client to maintain moving forward.
