Luxury Interior Design company, Hill House Interiors, appointed EDGE Design to create and build a brand new website design to showcase its impressive portfolio of interior design services.. The original brief was to duplicate their existing website onto a platform that gave them more flexibility. This brief quickly changed however and evolved into a design of a completely new website that would showcase the company’s luxury interior design projects in a bright, classy way that was easy to navigate.
Building the website on a content management system (CMS) was the obvious choice for this project allowing the client to easily add content, change images throughout the website on their own. The use of designed templates for various aspects of the website meant that the client can easily just add the content and associated images without the need of trying to keep a consistent feel across the website.
The design had several challenges along the way in terms of making the layout completely responsive ensuring that the website displayed well on all devices but the end result is a fabulous looking website (if we do say so ourselves) that will be easy for the client to maintain moving forward.
